The heavy hitting, while also melodic Flinch song, “Light it up ft. Heather Bright” was remixed by California producer, LA Riots in late July. Being among many others who have remixed this track, LA Riots went with a much different vibe than most. Starting with a slow progressive beat and then completely cutting out the heavy, dark Flinch drops of the original and complementing Ms. Bright’s beautiful vocals with cheerful, Avicci-esk house synths. This is an electro-house anthem guaranteed to keep a smile on your face.
If you’ve never heard of Eats Everything before, I think this will be a pretty good introduction into his music. Daniel Pearce better known as Eats Everything is a UK house producer that is rising up and coming a very prominent figure in music. This isn’t the house music you probably normally think of. This isn’t the fist-pumping, bass thumping music that most American producers make, but this is the mellow smooth beats and basslines that only UK producers seem to accomplish. Check out this new remix and enjoy!
Colby Buckler, the drummer for Elm and Oak’s own Two Fresh, recently teamed up with fellow Coloradans Candyman (from Crushendo) and Dynohunter to create trap-influenced hip-hop beats. Their previous releases saw the trio remixing Juicy J and sampling 2 Chainz, and the latest track follows in the same path with vocal samples from Waka Flocka & Deesha over an original electronic beat.
Elm & Oak’s Paper Diamond just announced a 20+ city tour, and is bringing along the duo hailing from New York known as The Knocks to open for the third leg of the tour. They first caught the attention of the music world with a spectacular and unique cover of M83′s “Midnight City,” and have followed it up with numerous original tracks and remixes. Their newest track is arguably the best we’ve heard from them so far, with catchy vocals and synths that beg for repeat listens and will have you singing along before the end of the song.
