Bassnectar never ceases to melt minds. His new ‘Freestyle Mixtape’ gives fans a taste of whats to come with his new EP, ‘Freestyle’, out October 16th. His transitions are flawless, taking you from dubstep to hip hop to rasta to some straight up heavy bass.
Leading up to the release of the new EP, Bassnectar has dropped two previews of the tracks (and I’m sure more to come). The first is a dirty banger, ‘Freestyle feat. Angel Haze’. Angel Haze is a 21 year old, up and coming hip hop artist whose rhymes are incredible and compliment Bassnectar’s style. The other, dropped today, is Bassnectar and DC Breaks called ‘Breathless feat. Mimi Page‘. The melody of the lyrics and classic Bassnectar sound make for another hit.
